Part II: Table Game Cheating · Dice & Craps Cheating Methods

Two-Hand Palm Switch

Dice SwitchingSkill: Professional

How it works

A variation on the Palm Switch that is easier to learn and perform. The cheat palms the gaffed dice in one hand while picking up the legitimate dice with the other hand. The gaffed dice are then dropped into the bend of the fingers while the straight dice are placed in the palm. The cheat then rubs their hands together in the characteristic way that craps shooters do “for luck” - and during this rubbing motion, the gaffed dice are transferred to the throwing hand and the straight dice are hidden. The switch can be reversed after the cheater has gained their advantage.
