Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Surveillance Intelligence Asia and any digital products, subscriptions, or services purchased from us.

Surveillance Intelligence Asia is a sole proprietorship registered in the Macau Special Administrative Region, and is the seller of record for the purposes of these terms. Contact: editor@surveillanceasia.com.

Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older. You must be employed by, contracted to, or acting on behalf of a casino, gaming-industry vendor, regulator, law-enforcement body, or related professional capacity. Registration information must be accurate and kept current.

Account

Your account is non-transferable. Credentials must not be shared. You are responsible for activity conducted under your account.

Products

Products are digital downloads delivered under a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for your internal professional use. Download links are provided via email and in your account dashboard. Download links expire after 30 days; extensions are available on request. All sales are final unless the product is materially defective.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the current paid period. We do not issue partial refunds for the unused remainder of a period already paid for.

Payments

All prices are quoted in United States dollars. Any local sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout based on your country. Payment is taken by a third-party payment processor acting as merchant of record: that company is the seller on your receipt and on your card or bank statement, it collects and remits any applicable tax, and it holds the payment relationship with you. We never see or store your card details.

Refunds

Our policy is that all sales are final unless the product is materially defective. Digital products are delivered immediately and retained by the buyer, so they are not returnable in the ordinary sense; where a file is corrupt, incomplete, or does not match what the product page described, we will repair it or refund it.

Two things sit alongside that, and you should know both. Our payment processor is the merchant of record, and it operates its own buyer terms which may grant a refund within a set window regardless of our policy — we do not override it, and a request made through them is decided by them. Separately, where mandatory consumer law in your country gives you a right of withdrawal or a statutory remedy, that law takes precedence over anything stated here. The Cheats & Scams Library

The Library is published as a detection reference for surveillance, compliance and gaming-operations professionals. Every method is free to read; the detection-and-prevention notes are the paid layer. It may not be used for fraudulent purposes, and the downloadable edition may not be redistributed or shared outside your organization.

Automated reading and AI agents

Public pages may be read, quoted and cited by AI agents and research tools that respectrobots.txtand attribute the source. Our terms for that use are published at /ai.txt and /llms.txt, and this clause takes precedence over the general prohibition on automated access above. What is not permitted is bulk extraction of a whole library, republication of gated material, or reading that ignores the crawl rules. We would rather be read accurately than not read at all.

Intellectual property

All content on Surveillance Intelligence Asia is owned by Surveillance Intelligence Asia or its licensors. Your license permits internal professional use, internal printed copies for your team, and modification of editable templates for your own operational use.

Prohibited uses

Resale, redistribution, sublicensing, sharing files or download links, removing copyright notices, competitive use against Surveillance Intelligence Asia, public distribution, and upload to file-sharing platforms.

User conduct

Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, deploy bots or scrapers that ignore our published crawl rules, upload malicious code, harass other users, or submit false information.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Limitation of liability

Surveillance Intelligence Asia is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid for the specific product or subscription giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Surveillance Intelligence Asia against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Macau Special Administrative Region. Disputes are heard in Macau courts.
