Lost/Found TITO Ticket Redemption
How it works
When a player forgets or loses a TITO ticket (or leaves credits in a machine), another person finds and redeems it. Under Nevada law and most gaming jurisdictions, a slot voucher belongs to the person who won it — not the person who finds it. However, redeeming a found ticket at a kiosk or cage is often trivial because the ticket barcode alone is sufficient for redemption with no identity verification. The Gaming Control Board has confirmed that redeeming a found ticket constitutes theft under NRS 205.0832, but prosecution depends on proving the finder knew the ticket belonged to someone else.
